RateMyWife is not open yet. The only personal data this site holds is what you type into the waitlist form, and this page says exactly what happens to it.
What we collect
Your email address, if you submit the waitlist form. Optionally whether you described yourself as a couple or single, which is a single word and is used only to know roughly who is waiting.
That is the complete list. There is no account, no profile, no photo and no payment: the address goes straight into a contact list held by Resend, our email provider, and no database on this site keeps a copy.
One exception worth naming: to stop a script emptying the waitlist, the server holds the IP address a submission came from, in memory, for sixty seconds. It is never written to disk and never leaves the server.
Why
To tell you when the site opens. That is the only reason, and it is the only email you will get from us.
The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or by asking us to delete you.
Who else sees it
Resend, in the United States, holds the contact list and sends the email. That transfer rests on the standard contractual clauses in their data processing agreement.
Vercel hosts the site. Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised session replays so we can see where the page confuses people; it does not record what you type into a field.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone else.
How long
Until the site opens and we have written to you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. If the project is abandoned, the list is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it. Deletion means the address is removed from the list and there is nothing left, because there was never anything else.

Cookies
This site sets one cookie of its own, which records the language you chose so the site keeps speaking it. It contains the two letters of that language and nothing else.
Clarity sets its own cookies for session replay. Vercel Analytics sets none.
